Description:
Story: Coal, Ashe, Master Gunny, Baby Girl, and Ice Man came from Raleigh when their owner died unexpectedly. They came in May of 2004. At the time, Ashe, Coal, and Master Gunny were fairly young puppies. An extensive attempt was made to socialize the puppies, with one being transferred, but both Coal and Ashe displayed some pre-existing aversion to human contact and behavioral problems such as nipping. Social issues with their penmates also later contributed to some of Coal's current antisocial behavior, though he has shown tremendous improvement, especially since being moved to a large pen with a new penmate.
Ice Man was transferred to another sanctuary. When that situation changed in the spring of 2010, he returned to Full Moon Farm. Sadly, his mate there, Sierra, had to be put to sleep as she was found to have several malignant tumors. Ice Man is a total mush and loves attention. He is always happy to come to the fence to get skritches and give kisses.
