Akila
Akila came to Full Moon Farm in the summer of 2010 with 16 other woofers. There were an additional ten northern breed mixes that were released to other rescues. Her prior life was with a breeder, who, when unable to provide a quality life for her and the others, released them to Full Moon Farm. She had an abscess in her mouth that required extensive veterinary work but, other than a small scar, she came through it perfectly. We are pleased that the old owner of these animals now volunteers for Full Moon Farm, and has a new understanding of wolfdog phenotyping and husbandry. Akila was born on January 22, 2005.
Hi, I’m Akila! I am a German Shepherd mix and super friendly and loving to those volunteers I know, but I am afraid of most other people. If you sponsor me, I will try to make friends with you! Wouldn’t you like my picture and certificate to show me off?
Akila Says
"Please
Sponsor
Me!"
We rely on donations and sponsorships to feed and care for our animals, and a simple sponsorship of $20 per month, given with your good wishes, goes a long distance towards covering the cost of maintaining all the wolfdogs in good health and keeping them happy and enriched! Sponsoring a wolfdog is a fantastic way to make a difference in their life--giving you a connection to them and their well-being.
